Just the other day I finished reading "The Skill." I wanted to thank both of you for putting so much time and energy into writing it.
I was recently married and I now work for a small start-up company from my home office. Your book has been a much needed fresh reminder that there is always room for understanding and growth in my life. Just yesterday, I was extremely stressed out in the middle of the day from work and social obligations, and in my mind I was blaming my wife for it. I'm normally passive aggressive, so instead of discussing it with her, I just became very quiet and removed. However, using your methodology we processed the scenario together, travelling through the ARTT circle and I then realized that I needed to write out each thing that was creating stress in my life and the urgency of getting the task done before I start to point fingers. There is no question I need to make ARTT a priority and discipline in my life. Thank you for the gift of learning.

As I applied techniques in The Skill to my own life, I experienced the most profound improvements in almost every way. Its application forced me to acknowledge my current feelings and constant search for links to the pain of my childhood [pain lumps]. My way of dealing with stress was a puzzling emotional reliance on food. Ultimately it has resulted in being able to shed almost 80 pounds within 10 months of first reading it. Other improvements are not as visibly obvious, but I am now gaining confidence in my decision making, my relationships with others and my desire to participate in social and physical activities. I no longer need medications to ease both physical and emotional pain. I am overwhelmed with gratitude to the Wollers for making this available to so many. My life will certainly never be the same.
