Aware

True awareness is the ability to be conscious of what is going on inside of you and outside of you, and how who you are and a given situation impact each other.

Reflect
If awareness is about understanding “what” took place, then reflection is about “why” it took place. Reflection allows you to go deeper and learn from your experiences.

Target
Targeting is about setting up a “how would I do it differently?” goal, applying the learning that came out of your reflection.

Try
Mentally rehearse how you will act in the targeted situation, including what you will do if things do not go as planned.
